An operating direction, not a completion claim
McKercher Corporation uses Real Zero to describe an end state in which practical energy needs can be met without routine dependence on fossil fuels. It is more demanding than balancing emissions with offsets, and it cannot be reached through a single product, installation, or business.
Progress is judged through what the group can influence: the equipment it supplies, the systems it installs, the way its businesses operate, and the evidence it publishes. Where a result cannot yet be measured or independently verified, the site describes the direction without presenting completion as fact.

Three tests for work carried under the mission
The mission is useful only when it changes how work is selected, delivered, and described.
- 01
Electrify practical energy needs
Expand access to solar, battery storage, EV charging, and the supporting infrastructure that can replace routine fossil-fuel use.
- 02
Keep delivery accountable
Connect product access with in-house engineering and installation so responsibility remains visible from assessment through commissioning.
- 03
Measure before making a claim
Separate direction from completed outcomes, use dated evidence, and avoid presenting a target as though it has already been achieved.
Different responsibilities, one long-term direction
