Bulletin, October 2024: Powerwall training and CPR rules

A historical index of the training, licensing, standards and organisational matters recorded in the McKercher Corporation bulletin for October 2024.

Historical October 2024 bulletin index covering Powerwall 3 training, electrician CPR requirements and AS/NZS 4777.1:2024.

This page indexes matters recorded in the October 2024 internal bulletin. Approval status, training access, legal requirements and transition dates are time-bound. Current controlled sources must be checked before a decision or task.

Powerwall 3 approval and training record

The bulletin recorded Clean Energy Council approval on 18 October 2024 and stated that Western Power and Synergy listings were still pending. It also directed relevant staff to Tesla partner training and document resources.

Those statements describe the launch period. They do not establish current approval, network acceptance, stock, course access or staff competency.

Current manufacturer documents, approval lists, network requirements and controlled training records take precedence.

WA electrician CPR requirement

The bulletin stated that a Western Australian electrician CPR requirement commenced on 17 October 2024. It identified HLTAID009, renewal and record-retention periods, and transitional timing for existing and newly licensed electricians.

The migrated bulletin did not retain the regulator direction, legislative instrument or official course page supporting those details. Electricians and employers must verify the current requirement, approved training and evidence obligations through the responsible WA regulator and controlled company training system.

AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 transition record

The bulletin recorded publication of AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 on 23 August 2024 and a transition date of 23 February 2025. It summarised terminology and installation topics described at the time.

That transition information is historical. The bulletin does not reproduce the standard and is not suitable for design, installation, commissioning or verification work.

EUPD Research award record

The bulletin recorded PSW Energy and Perth Solar Warehouse receiving an EUPD Research Top Installer recognition at a 2024 event in Melbourne. The linked record preserves the event statement and identifies the missing recipient list, certificate URL and assessment methodology.

The recognition is historical and does not establish current status or suitability for a particular project.

Provenance and current-status limits

The migrated bulletin did not retain primary approval records, network listings, CPR directions, training records or a copy of AS/NZS 4777.1:2024. The award record also lacks a retained primary recipient list and methodology. Current regulator, standards, network, manufacturer and internal controlled sources take precedence.
